The eurovision is where people go on and then thats their career ruined! It always seems to end like that.
I wouldn't want to put Lee through that! And no matter who we have singing for us.... we will never win or do well, it is all political so i dont even know why United Kingdom bother entering [i tell you why... because we put the money into it!]

I suppose you're right Stace. I was just thinking that if Lee did we'd win!

This is not something I would want Lee or actually any other star to do. Eurovision has run its course. Andrew LLoyd Webber could write the greatest song of all , he's already written probably the best of all time and had some fantastic people sing but we still won't win because of the voting system.
Lee's a musical theatre star any way and long may he be one.
Good luck to ALW he's going to need it with this one I'm afraid.

Have to agree with Tricia... and i'm really not sure why ALW has agreed to do this. Surely everyone has realised by now that we could have the best song on earth, sung by the best singer ever, but so long as its eurovision we are never going to stand a chance cos we don't have enough 'neighbours' voting for us like so many of the other countries. Oh well, good luck to them, cos they are definately going to need it no matter who the singer is.

I saw the ad for this yesterday..... not sure about it though it makes a nice change to them finding some old one hit wonders from the past to sing a cheesy tune...

It just seems to me that the BBC won't have a Musical Star Search so they need something else to fill their primetime schedules.....

i will watch with an open mind but really not sure...

(and yes i agree maybe just send Lee in his loincloth - surely that'll give us a win ;-) )
