Thank you so much for the photo, Bigbird. Somebody has put up quite a good video on you tube of the full song and there is one of him doing more of a performance of it in Holland if anyone is interested. He is amazing! It is a shame he isn't doing musical theatre anymore. (still love Lee though!)

Have to Admit Osiris that I went onto youtube earlier today to find Steve's performance and watched it several times as well as the Dutch performance! I love the JCS soundtrack with him singing. I did see it in the West End, should dig out my programmme to see if he was in it when I saw it!

Yes, I've watched it a few times too! I think I may buy the soundtrack then if it has him singing on it. Which one would I need to look for on Amazon because there's probably more than one?

Ro, thanks for the SB pix. I love what he says on his Myspace page about this song -- "Once in a blue moon, if the mood takes me, I like to grow a beard and cry."

His PiP performance is very good, but I prefer the Ahoy, Holland performance -- more dramatic staging, less of a concert-style feel, and phenomenal performance from SB. Definitive IMO.

Yes there are videos of SB on youtube: Gethsemane at ALW party in park and at Ahoy theatre, Holland. There are also ones of him guest singing with Mario Frangoulis at his concerts. A new one has been added of him singing with him at the Albert Hall last Friday. They are singing a lovely song called 'Dedication', but before it Mario is talking to Steve and playing for time because Steve is crying after singing Gethsemane. It's really quite touching. Also, check out The Storys website. This is Steve's band - lovely music in my opinion.
