I'm gonna miss the last episode of Dr.Who Cry

because im going to be watching some rather lovely looking men in white shorts batting a ball backwards and forwards @ Wimbledon Laughing

but THANK GOD for video recorders Laughing

I never really watched any of Doctor Who until this series. It's my nephew's favourite show and he pretty much shouted at me for not knowing what he was talking about! He wanted to play Doctor Who and I had no idea what he was on about! So I started watching it this season. And I love it! The scarecrows scared the hell out of me, I don't know how my 5 year old nephew watched it without nightmares! Same with the Weeping Angels.

But as a result of watching ADWD my JB love has really grown. Plus most of the Lee fans seem to be JB fans too, and everyone's really got me into it! Will definitely be watching Torchwood. (will I need to catch up on season 1 of it before watching the new one??)

I would say yes, watch Season 1.
Not sure if you'll need too but it's JB & there's alot of 'squee' worthy moments all throughout the series

Ok, I'll make the effort to watch Season 1, my friend's got it all so I'll borrow it off him. Hahah I just knew I'd turn to the "Dark Side" if I kept talking to other Lee fans, they all seem to love JB! I loved him on that show on the BBC last night, the one about whether they were lying or telling the truth. Can't remember the name of it, but it was great. He was so funny! And looked GOOD!

Yes I saw that show too.
JB was looking mighty fine and so funny too.
I'm in 7th heaven watching Dr Who with JB and DT, all we need now is for Lee to join them.

Have LOVED JB for years, so Torchwood, ADWD & HDSAPLM were all musts for me - following Capt Jack got me into new DW almost as a sideline.

And I'm pleased to say that when I met JB a few months ago he was a perfect sweetheart!

My adventure nearly went horribly wrong before we left the house! My black cab card booking (I get a discount of a certain number of ride thanks to a mobilty scheme) went all wierd & I had to ring up twice!

Anyway, when we EVENTUALLY got there Mum found an assistant and explaining about the wheelchair got me straight up to the third floor, so we did queue jump an entire floor ; didn't want to jump TOO much because I hadn't seen the friend I was meeting for 8 months, so we used the queue to catch up properly!

Then Lucy arrived and found us, so we went a bit girlie catching up. Mum left us for a bit to go window-shopping & Lucy & I had a giggle over a group of sqealing fan girls reactions over JB's arrival; they obviously hadn't done their research, if you know what I mean ;)

Mum was gone about an hour & came back when we were about half way round the queue.

Chiq, you were right about John; he was so nice! The minute he saw my wheelchair, he was out of his seat & said to Mum: "It's ok, stay there; I'll come out to you."

My friend Lucy took the pics and he was going to kneel down but then he grinned and jumped up on the table beside me.
He smiled like I was hoping for, a real smile, not an acted one and said "As you couldn't lean over to me then I'll lean over to you."

He was patient whilst Lucy took 2 shots and then he asked my name and signed my audiobook & then when Lucy gave him my book to sign to, he laughed & called me greedy.

Well I COULDN'T let him get away with that so I asked him how the Welsh accent was going. He said ok but he could only do swear words so he couldn't prove it!

We moved on then, left and went to lunch in Liecester SQ (sp?).

Lucy says she's going to get T-shirts made from the pics so we can wear them on holiday!

A great way to spend a sunny Saturday morning!

) he's going to be playing Aladdin @ the Hippodrome GO AND GET TICKETS its selling out fast :D

Isn't he a sweetheart waiting with you to have his photo taken he cares so much about his fans :) :D
