I loved it too - liked matt Smith very much and I'm looking forward to seeing how he develops the character. A bit geeky, a bit quirky and just a bit sexy too!!

LOL

Another fab episode :cheer:
Jammy Dodger used as Tardis self destruct button!! :hysterical:

Come on Marieke, what's your theories on a) Amy not knowing the Dalek attack on Earth and b) the 'crack in the wall' references? Connected? :-s

Haha, you know, normally I'd have theories aplenty, but the writing's so good, I honestly don't know. The mentions in tonight's episode, time being rewritten and unwritten, could well be the cause of Amy not knowing anything about the Dalek invasion, but it might be something more too. It seems there is something more about Amy than meets the eye. And I don't have a clue, yet. (And if you think that's frustrating - oh yes! )

It'll be interesting to find out more about River and the Pandorica too! :-)

New ep tomorrow! :bounce:

Hopefully part of the mystery surrounding Amy will start to unraffle, but I wouldn't put it past the Moff to keep us guessing up till the very last episode! pirate ( )

I reckon he'll keep us in suspense right to the end of the series and just drip feed us clues. I think it will have someting to do with the new Daleks - somehow they cause the event in Amy's time that starts the cracks appearing??

Looking forward to the vampires this week!

Lol

Er... I might just swear off Doctor Who if we get force fed another OMGDALEK finale 0:-) I appreciate the Daleks (*glares at sock puppets* I keep wanting to write Darleks now) as the Doctor's nemeses, I adore the new Power Ranger Daleks, but I do hope they won't show up for another fifteen episodes at the least! They'll need time to repair, regroup, reproduce, and ideally that'll take them forever.

I wouldn't mind Timelords or Gallifrey, but after End of Time that would just be too soon. (Still, based on a few clues, a specific shot in the series' trailer...)

But what we know isn't much, is it?

* Crack in the fabric of Time and Space (surely fabric doesn't crack?)
* Silence will fall (this reminds me way too much of a certain Buffy episode)
* And the Pandorica will open

That last sounds like Pandora's Box, so maybe a space in between filled with enemies? The Void? (Cause that'd explain that trailer, too) And nothing can exist in the Void ('cept for things in a Void ship), so that'd would explain the silence bit.

It does leave some unexplained random possible clues

* Myth ... Fairy Tale ... (yes that's my trail of thought right now) ... Nursery Rhyme ... Imaginary Friend.
Myth was the brand name of Jeff's laptop.
Fairy Tale is from the last episode, when Doc and River are talking about the Pandorica. "That's a fairy tale" - "Aren't we all?" (Flippin' that!)
Nursery rhyme of course is from the Beast Below:
A horse and a man
Above below
One has a plan
But both must go

Mile after mile
Above beneath
One has a smile
And one has teeth

Though the man above
Might say hello
Expect no love
From the beast below

In bed above
Or deep asleep
While greater love
Lies further deep

This dream must end
This world must know
We all depend
on the beast below

Imaginary Friend is Doc.

Of course the nursery rhyme especially might only refer to that episode, but the imagined becoming real has become quite a topic this series, I'd say!

...
Sweet Gallifrey, I need to get a life.

and I know you have a very full life

Fabric can tear, isn't a tear in the fabric of time also a Rift?

Tbh, I do too, even though I am quite obviously insane. But that's no news! I might adopt 'Sweet Gallifrey' as a catch phrase, it has a nice ring to it.

Yeah, rift was the first thing that came to mind. *ponders* Ripping the fabric of time to shreds... *lol* Let's just stick to tear, it sounds poetic (and not all too dangerous either) :-p

I love 'Sweet Gallifrey' as a catchphrase lol

Yes much more poetic but still dangerous me thinks

Nah, it sounds harmless! Nothing like a rift in Time and Space, or a crack in the universe. Tiny, harmless! Although yeah, maybe perhaps potentially very dangerous, too...! :lol

*would like to point out that vampires are another myth coming true* With a twist of course, but it fits well in my line up

It seems like the cracks could still be Void too... Silence on the one hand, and parallel universes on the other. But it will be interesting to see where it all leads!

These cracks are becoming more serious, not just 'following' Amy but appearing in other parts of the Universe too

A great ep last night, loved Amy's " I'm from Ofsted" :hysterical:

The silence coming reminds me of the Oods prediction from the last series which was about darkness coming? :-s

Like that the Doctor has roped in Rory to keep Amy from ravishing him lol

I am completely gobsmacked and have no idea how he's going to get out of that one! Marieke - any thoughts?? I love hearing your theories and trying to piece it all together.
