Oh right, can't wait to see how they both do although I've never seen the show so haven't got anything to gauge it against but I'm sure they'll be fab.

Well, I know for certain that Ramin's awesome, having seen him countless times.

But I'm quite intrigued about Alex, people say he has a nice voice and Raoul's his West End Debut (which, if you think about it is pretty impressive).

.... but then you would recover quickly and Lee would rip his shirt open and jump into a lake

Hi all you phantom fans, quick question for you. I'm going to london with a friend in march, monday 3rd and tuesday 4th, next year. I looked on the website to see about tickets for Phantom, and there were none available, with either See or ticketmaster. It didn't say sold out, there just seemed as if there were no shows then. Any ideas on why this is?

I just had a quick look and it appears that all of March is missing Mondays, Tuesdays and Wednesdays, how odd... hm, I can't think why that would be. I'd suggest phoning See up to find out... and with Phantom you get better seats if you phone anyway :)

Ok thanks. Any seats in particular you'd recommend - or avoid?

Well, I'd avoid the £25 balcony seats, I'm told it's too far away (even though the theatre's small) and there's not much leg room. If you're going to go for the £55s, then I'd avoid row Mish in the stalls, since at that point the circle overhang obstructs your view of the high bits... I recommend anything from row B (because there's no row A) to J , since I know those are not obstructed by the overhang at all... first few rows of the Royal Circle are really good too, but be careful of sitting too close to the side as you can see into the wings, and some people don't like that sort of thing... hope that helped a bit! :D

To be honest, we had row B ( front row ) and it did spoil some of the stage action...you couldnt see their feet and the main bit underground when they are on the boat wasnt that impresive as we could only see their top half. Mind you, i wasnt aware that the Policeman in the Pit was Lee, who at the time popped up infront of me  Wasted moment that was

If i went again, i would happily sit from about 4th row back, and as central as you can.

If you want to appriciate the whole show then maybe front row circle would be good, looking straight down on the stage with nothing infront of you.

Ah yes, that's true... I'm talking from my own experience since I LOVE seeing facial expressions in detail, so missing some of the floor action isn't important to me

Yes Angelie, I agree with you there, from front row, you do feel you can see every facial movement...but with a show, i like to be able to see everyone and also whats going on around them on stage. i think it depends alot on the show too. We were 2nd row for the Lion King and that was awesome...felt you were on stage at times and very intense. Pleased we had tickets so close for that show.

Yeah, I know what you mean. For me Phantom's different, because I've seen it way too many times, so I don't mind not seeing absolutely everything... and I liked being nodded to by Michael Xavier in the curtain call :D. But yes, generally it is good to get an overview of everything that's going on.

Eeeeee, I'm going to see the show on Thursday. 3rd row stalls, which is rather exciting! :D. It'll be the first time in sooooo looooong that Michael hasn't been there, which'll be a bit strange I guess, but I'm rather intrigued by Alex Rathgeber...

Oh and it makes me very happy to know that now Ramin's name is on the poster at the front of the theatre and his bio is the first out of the cast bios :D Yay!

Electra, you saw the show the other day right? Did you enjoy it?

Angelie you have to tell us ALL about it, I want a proper review!
And pretty please listen in AIAOY to see if Alex holds the note on "know" as in "You knoooooooooooooowwwwwwwww I do"

If he doesn't hold the note like Michael held the note it will upset me greatly haha.

Well I have to write a POL review anyway, since no-one's done an Alex one yet. And I'll probably be REALLY nerdy and write song-by-song notes during the interval and once I get home in the evening... I also want to beat my word count from the last time I wrote a review:-P

And yeah, I'll try to listen out for that. Poor Alex, he's going to have to put up with a lot of comparisons! (Though, I suppose he won't actually hear them...)

Just had to share my pictures!! Here we are with the lovely Phantom, Ramin Karimloo. WOW!!! he is just so charming and sweet. I'm in love! He even gave me and my sister a kiss! SWOON SWOON!

Wow Clare, I think we were following each other about!! lol
We saw Joseph on Friday 23rd & then Phantom on Saturday 24th (Matinee)

This was the first time I've seen the stage show too & I was blown away!!!! From the tingling I got from the first bars of music to the buckets of tears I shed at the end!!!

I would recommend this show to everyone but won't say anymore about it 'cos I'd hate to spoil any of the 'surprises'

I saw it about three years ago. Am going again on the 1st august
Grate story and the whole show was brilliant my only regret is not seeing Lee in it .But as he wasn't the understudy when I went that would have been impossible.

I saw Ramin and Alex today, but didn't get autographs or speak to them. Ramin turned up on motorbike, which he parked beside the stage door.
