Hello all,

For a bit of post-Jo distraction therapy, I decided to book to go and see the Britain's Got Talent tour in Glasgow tomorrow night.

Should be good fun if nothing else. I'll report back to let you know what it was like! lol

That should be interesting! Is this one of the performances that Susan Boyle is expected to do?

Erm, I now don't have a reply button on each post either JL, the reply box, complete with smilies, is at the bottom of the posts now. Hope this helps.

Went to see the BGT live tour last night at the Nottingham Tent FM arena and thoroughly enjoyed it

My daughter Danielle is a massive Diversity fan, but we kept the tickets a secret from her right up until an hour before the show(we only live 5 mins from the venue) I've never seen her so happy, she screamed, and screamed and screamed, she'd been going on and on and on about going every time we drove past the arena, it was hard not to crack a smile every time.

Show opening with DJ Talent doing his chant but he changed the words slightly from Britain and Talent to Robin and Hood, it got the crowd in the mood

Stephen Mulhearne hosted the show and introduced the winners Diversity on first, the place erupted including Danielle, they were fantastic, you could really see the energy that goes into the routine, the 2 youngsters were excellent!!!!

Stavros Flatley had me in tears, they were both bouncing around the stage it was hard to keep up with them, they threw the wigs at the end of the show, it missed it by a gnats whisker!!

Flawless were Flawless!! the routine was so tight, and they really interacted with the crowd, so very sexy moves!!

Julian Smith the sax player was incredible, I've never been much of a listener of solo instrument music, but I have to say his playing was superb, when he played Somewhere from Westside Story there were woman crying where I was sitting, it was played so beautifully.

Shaun Smith had the girls swooning  fab singer, will only get better

2 Grand had the awww factor the young girl has a really strong voice

Hollie Steel had the ahhhhhh factor

Aiden Davies - Seeing as he's only been dancing for 6 months is incredible and he's self taught!!!

Here's a few pics

Wow! What an amazing surprise for your daughter, Dee! No wonder she was thrilled!

Thanks for telling us all about it, sounds about the same as when I went, funnily enough. lol No Susan Boyle then? I hear she appeared at Wembley last night.

Agree with almost everything you said, however, I'll give 2 Grand and Hollie Steel a miss, don't like either acts at all...... lol Pass the sick bucket! :odd:

Diversity and Flawless were awesome! Diversity are more technically clever, whereas Flawless are more sexy when they dance!

I just love wee curly haired guy in Diversity! He's a wee cutie!

Excellent pictures! Looks like you had very good seats! Thanks for sharing them. :thanks:

Perri is the wee curly haired guy, and he's the reason for Danielle's obsession atm she's still on cloud 9, can't get her off it

No, Susan didn't grace us with an appearance and tbh I wasn't bothered, The whole Susan Boyle saga needs sorting out, she either does the tour or pulls out altogether, it's not fair on herself or the paying public, how is she going to cope when she goes over to the States, it will be relentless over there.

Awww, wee soul! That's very sweet. lol

I agree with you about Susan Boyle....she either does the tour or she doesn't, she can't keep paying visitors hanging on at the last minute until she decides if she's going to appear or not. There would be no show if the rest of the acts did that! They would be flung in an instant most likely! I do like Susan and I think her singing is amazing, but she's not fit for this and certainly not fit or stable enough for America at the moment. I do like her singing, but she can't carry on the way she is just now, it isn't healthy.

Wow!! What a fab suprise for Danielle :sun:

Great pics Dee :snap: but then you do have a fab camera so I'd expect nothing less  :-p

I must say I think the elder Stavros Flatley has lost a little weight :teehee:

Oh & I totally agree about Susan Boyle, she's not mentally fit for performing IMO & the PTB should take responsibility & drop her from the line-up & make sure she has the proper care & support she needs to go back to her normal life :-s
