Considering the lack of threads I have to wonder... is anyone watching this? Cause I am! I don't think it's as good as ADWD or IDA, but if anything it's highly enjoyable. And as always there are some very talented contenders. I'm rooting for Jessica, but I loved Stephanie too. Still a bit shocked that she was voted off last week!

So favourites? Love/hate? :-)

The favourite in our house is Lauren (my OH seems particularly keen on her bur I can't really complain given the whole Lee obsession thing!!). Haven't taken to Jess myself - thought she was good doing cabaret last week, but don't like her interpretation of other songs. I think she would make a good Sally Bowls but not a Dorothy.

I was sad to see Stephanie go as she was another of our favourites - think she got stitched up with her song tbh.

Don't like Jenny either - hope she goes next week.

Like Steph a lot but think she is too 'grown up' for Dorothy and I'm hoping ALW gives her a job in something else instead.

Lol

The Wizard of Oz is the movie I've seen most... and yeah, I am following it!!

My favorite competitor is - by far - Jessica. I just love her onstage!! But my favorite Dorothy is Danielle. I really think she has the looks and quality's to play that little girl.

Until last week, I was convinced Stephanie would win this battle-of-Dots. Wow, was I wrong!!! She didn't deserve it, even though it's one step closer for my favorites to win. I think Steph would suit Dorothy in The Wiz better, since she's more mature and the repertoire fits her voice better. But then again, one step closer for my favorites ;)
Now I think the last two will be Lauren and Danielle who will make it to the final-two.

Next Sunday (or Saturday actually) two Dorothy's will leave and I hope very, VERY much that Sophie and Jenny will follow the yellow brick road right back to their own homes.

Personally I don't like Jenny either, at least not as Dorothy. I took to Lauren after her sing-off! Shivers down my spine! But Dorothy... I don't know. She reminds me a lot of Niamh, and in that comparison Niamh wins hands on. (Specially after LND, I'll admit.)

I love Jessica for her acting, I think she's by far the strongest on that account. And Cabaret last week was absolutely breathtaking!

To be fair though, I should perhaps admit that in the end I really don't care too much because I don't plan on ever seeing the show. I love the songs, and I will be interested to see what they do with the staging, but I'm just not that fond of the show as such. (Soz Gaby  ) I blame Wicked for brainwashing me lol

i'm following this.. i didn't think stephanie should have gone last week but then again it was a tough call cause they wrere all soo good... i like steph (the one left in) i think she's got a really good chance.. i don't like jess.. my mum likes her cause shes querky.. i think she's good but not a dorothy.. i'm not a fan of lauren she's too cocky for me but she is an absolute amazing performer soo good luck to her.. soo steph to win!!

Hi :hello:

I watched OTR tonight. I usually watch it later in the week. I think Sophie should be next to go, but I really don't 'get' Lauren. I agree with you, Marieke, she is like Niamh from last year, but with strange mouth movements and rather squinty expressionless eyes. (I also agree that Niamh is great in LND.)

I'm not sure. Based on tonight's performance I do think Sophie should be the next to go, but I was blown away by her performance last week! Still, in the end I'm rooting for Jessica. Loved her, again, tonight!

Nope i ain't watching.

Saw it once and well they all grated on me when they sang and annoyed me. HaHa!
i can't really see any of them in the role of Dorethy.

It not like when i watched ADWD and i immediately said Lee was the winner.

Stace xx

I'm actually enjoying OTR more than I did IDA!
I wasn't suprised that Jenny went last night and think Sophie will be next.

I'm torn between Jessica & Steph, Steph blew me away last night and I was crying with her as her performance was so moving

My prediction for the final is Jessica, Steph & Lauren

Erm... WHAT?! (Yes, I forget to watch the result show ever single time.) But WHAT?! Are they flippin' INSANE?!

*breathes* Ok, I'll stop shouting, but after Stephanie last week and Jessica this week... I've no idea what they're doing. I like Danielle, a lot, but I think Jessica was absolutely amazing. *grumbles*

I've gotta support Lauren. She's from my hometown! (Well, near enough!)
Plus I saw her as Wendy in Peter Pan the new musical which was shown at Leicester's Curve theatre over christmas, and she was absolutely fantastic. So I trust her to do 8 shows a week!

To be honest though, I'm WAY too passionate about The Wizard of Oz, my favourite movie of all time, so I'm sort of wishing they'd just leave it well alone and stop messing with it!
