Ive just returned from a couple of very nice days in London with my Mum. Part of her treat was a visit to see the Sound of Music. What a brilliant show. The music and songs are performed brilliantly by the whole cast, especially the children, alot of whom were making their West End debut in this show. What confidence they had. Connie was simply perfect in this role, her voice and acting throughout the show were wonderful. I do though feel that the character of the captain was based on Prince Charles, that leading man had the voice and characteristics down to a tee....

.
We also went to the Tutankahmun exhibition at the O2. Very impressed with the actual exhibition, the artifacts and pictures were wonderful, but the gift shop was a total rip off. The prices were so high and the quality of the gifts was terrible in some cases...so cheap looking. Even a pencil was nearly £3, and with lots of school visits, there was not much for the children to buy with their pocket money. Books for £35, and statues ect for £100's...needless to say, i didnt buy anything.
Did miss going to The Adelphi but roll on June :D
