Can't believe we don't already have threads for these, but thought I would start a joint one for people to chat about either/or.

I am currently watching both, and although I wasn't sure I was going to enjoy SCD with some of the 'old' dancers axed and a new format, I really am!! The only thing I am not too sure about is the way they are announcing the results and the scrapping of the dance-off and the judges chance to save. Not sure how that is going to work in future shows, especially given the 'Great British Public's' way of voting. Becomes more of a popularity contest than a dance contest IMO. Was quite surprised at Goldie going first - he wasn't great, but was certainly not the worst!! I really don't get the Anne Widdicombe thing - how has she suddenly become so popular? Or do people just feel sorry for Anton?

X-factor - again quite surprised at the result, but not sorry to see Nicolo go. Don't know how he got there in the first place! But how the heck did Wagner get through???

To be honest I've not watched any of the eps from either this year!
However I suppose I'd better get in to them as there's precious little else to watch
